Whereas E(ner)MAS optimises the internal structures and organisation of material and energy use and DEMS optimises technically the use of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources, MFM introduces a particular regional focus and the aspects of embedded and indirect energy flows, with an impact on waste use, food supply and use of materials and energy from the region.
