ZEC is generating and contributing heat energy. Furthermore ZEC is holding and maintaining the grid for heat supply as well as other heating systems.

Zec provides heat and warm water to about 30% of the inhabitants of Slubice what complies with 13,5 MW.
The Objectives for ZEC in within the project SEMS are:
- to reduce the energy consumption of public buildings about 30% till 2010
- to reduce the energy demand of Slubice at a minimum of 10%

to reduce the heat energy demand about 20% within the grid
